Miscellaneous Pictures

This post really has no title and no point other than the fact that I wanted to share some cute pictures from our week.

As you all know, the kids and I are quite obsessed with going to the park. We like getting out and discovering new little neighborhood parks. It’s a great way for the kids to burn off energy, its free and it’s a great way to soak up the fresh air and sunshine.

 

 

This is Owen and a friend he made at the park. His name was Eli. They LOVED climbing up the slide together!

The park we stumbled upon had a cool little pond with fishies and all.

Auntie Kiki & Uncle Chris brought over this really cool kindergarten workbook for Owen on Easter. We busted out the workbook the other day and he was occupied for hours. Literally hours. Owen loves to write his letters over and over. He also learned how to color by numbers and he  LOVED it! I am so proud of this kid. He blows me away with how his little mind is always learning.

Playing with their ‘babies’. Owen likes to call them ‘babies’ not ‘dolls’ because he said ‘dolls’ are for girls only. Lol. He cracks me up! He also decided to name all their ‘babies’ colors in Spanish. They now have Baby Azul, Baby Café, Baby Rosa, and Baby Violet (the only non Spanish color?!?!). Haha.

Autumn loving brother which always turns into a wrestling match.

One night last week Brandon had to work really late so after putting on our pj’s the kids decided they wanted to stay upstairs to play in their rooms. I came downstairs to clean up some dirty dishes that were sitting in the sink.  Well after about 10-15 minutes it was really really quiet in the house. And all you parents know that a quiet house with 2 kids can mean 1 of 2 things; 1) They are actually playing nicely together or 2) They are doing something they should not be doing. Usually when this happens it is #2. So I quietly snuck upstairs to peek on them and this is what I stumbled upon….

So precious! Owen and Autumn were sitting on his bed and he was reading a book to her. I almost cried because it was so sweet to watch. I stood there peeking around the corner of the door for awhile with a huge smile on my face and did not want to ruin this sweet sweet moment. I am so blessed and my heart is beyond full!
