Autumn’s Gymnastic Performance

This year Autumn’s Gymnastic Studio, Jet Gymnastics, put on a Holiday Olympic Show. The preschool class did the Opening Ceremonies. They didn’t do a routine performance, they did a few warm up activities and then went around a big square doing Circuit Exercises to show off some of their skills. O sweet goodness, it was the cutest thing I have ever seen. After they performed, they all got to get on a raised platform to receive a T-Shirt & a Medal. I cannot put into words how proud Autumn was. She still to this day carries that medal around as if it is a sacred prized possession.

All ready to go preform. I really thought she was going to get really nervous and shy (she usually shuts down in big crowds) when she saw how big the audience was, but I was completely wrong. She was so confident and ready to go. Owen was so sweet and cheered really loud for her. She was beaming out there!

Believe it or not, she is not the youngest in this group :) My tiny little peanut with a BIG personality. Don’t believe me, check this one out…

If you know Autumn at all, you know if she is concentrating you can guarantee her tongue will be sticking out :)

And I am 100% positive there is nothing in this World that can make my heart smile more than these two do!!!

 

Autumn has grown so much over this past year in Gymnastics. I kind of wish they got to do some stuff on the Bars because that is her specialty, her upper body strength and bar flipping amazes me. She can tell you the correct name of every trampoline jump, floor exercise, or bar position. She is also on sticking her landings after a bar routine and she’s working on mastering her Cart Wheels. I am SO very proud of her. I really think she’ll be doing this for a long time, it’s definitely her passion. She just got asked last month to move up a class from the Preschool Class to the Mini Devo’s Division. This is a big deal since it’s actually a team, most of the kids in it are in the 4.5-6 age range. She is completely fearless and extremely strong, maybe one day that will actually be an Olympic Medal hanging around her neck. You never know!

I love you sweet baby girl, Mommy, Daddy, and Owen are SO proud of you and all your hard work and dedication.

Aunt Rose’s Company Kids Christmas Party

The lovely Aunt Rose’s company puts together this amazing Christmas Party just for kids at the Hyatt Downtown Denver. I cannot even to begin to explain how fun this is for the kiddos. We got to go last year and the kids were thrilled when I told them we get to go again. They get to visit Santa and he even gives them a gift on the spot! Thank you, thank you, thank you Aunt Rose for inviting us to come along again this year, the kids had such a great time. Enjoy the mounds of pictures.

A Bronco Colored Sword with a belt carrier, and a beautiful pink butterfly that Autumn turned into a backpack.

Then it was off to visit Santa,

 

This was the First year Autumn didn’t cry. Yay!!!!!

Autumn got her Pink Doodle Bear & Owen got the Pop the Pig Game he has been wanting for over a year!

Then it was off to the Cookie Decorating Station,

Then Face Painting,

She was a fantastic face painter!!!

Next we took a break to eat the fabulously catered meal (they had kid & adult food which makes everyone very happy), and then it was off to see some magic,

 

And I believe NO Christmas Event is complete without a little Public Meltdown,

Honestly, I can’t say it enough, Thanks for having us Aunt Rose. We were truly honored to be your guests!

KB Home Christmas Party

Brandon’s company (KB Home) had a fabulous Christmas Party this year. They had it at the Brown Palace Hotel. It’s a fancy shamancy hotel that is the 2nd Oldest Hotel that is still going in Denver. It’s beautiful and the dinner was amazing. I only had my phone with me, but here are a couple pics I snapped of us all fancied up.

My Sister’s VERY quick Visit

The weekend after Thanksgiving my Sister, Nice and Brother-In-Law came for a very quick visit. By quick I mean they got in Saturday night around 8:20pm and left Sunday morning at 10:45 (a total of 14.5 hours). Why? Because they moved. They officially made the move from the Sunny Dessert of Albuquerque, NM to the Grey Overcast Cloudy Rainy and Beautifully lush Northwest of Portland, OR. Crazy right?! They moved mainly for job security since her husband transferred from the Intel in NM to OR. Same job, same company, just a more stable location and my sister got a job in the MICU at OHSU. My sis had mixed feelings about the whole situation, but aside from leaving the family support, I personally think it was a positive move for them. Any who, since they were driving up to OR they decided to come up through Denver for weather reasons and because a friend from Denver was helping them move. So Chris, the dogs, and the U-Haul stayed the night at his friends house and we got my Sis & Abi  for the night :) Woo Hoo. Like I said, it was an insanely quick visit, but one I was very thankful to have! Since they were here we were able to give Abi her Bday & Christmas present, got to see her reaction and saved on shipping. Win, win! I’m gonna miss seeing them more often then not with them going from a 6.5 hour drive away to about an 18 hour(ish) drive away, but I am so happy this has been such a positive move for them. Nothing better than a new adventure and fresh start. Best of Luck Bollinger Family, can’t wait to go visit!
