Tattoo's!!!!

So last week, Brandon and I went to get tattoo's. Yes TATTOO's. It was my second and Brandon's first, and yes they are addicting, Brandon is already thinking of what he is gonna get next. We both got Ichthus', which is another fancy name for "Jesus Fish". An Ichthus is basically the sign that serves for Christian Faith. This Christian symbol was used in the very early years of Christianity when the Believers were being persecuted by the Romans. When two people met, one would draw the lower part of the fish; the second person, if they were a Believer, would complete the symbol. Today the fish symbol, referred to as ichthus and sometimes as ichthys identifies a person displaying them self as a Christian.
Here is a picture of my little fish on my foot. It hurt, but not nearly as bad as the one on my back. It looks glossy b/c I had some ointment on it. Mine took a total of 15 minutes.

Here is Brandon's fish. His is a lot cooler, bigger and a lot more detailed than mine. His took a total of 55 minutes. Check back to see when his second one comes. Ha Ha...

Brandon's 2nd Father's Day

Wow...It's hard to believe that last Father's day Owen was just 3 weeks old. It' even harder to believe how much has changed in that past year. Owen went from barley being able to hold his own head up to a walking and talking toddler. God is so amazing! Well this Father's Day we were headed back home from our Chicago trip. The day didn't start off too well since we had to say Goodbye to family and because of Owen's 45 minute meltdown on the plane. However; the day improved once we finally got home. We spent the evening with my parents and my sis and bro-in-law. My parents made a delicious Steak dinner for us. It was AWESOME!!! Here are a few pictures from the day...
Here is my Owen and his Pampo, Owen is wearing the shirt Pampo bought him at the 2009 Fiery Foods show in Albuquerque.

Chicago Trip; Part 1 (Hanging out with the Family)

Brandon, Owen and I just got back from vacation in Chicago, IL. We went to visit Brandon's Aunt, Uncle and Three Cousins who moved away 2 years ago from Albuquerque. We miss them so much and were so excited we finally got to go visit. Brandon's Mom actually had never been there either so she met us out there; any good excuse to see Owen and she is there! Jk. She was so sweet and babysit for 8 hours one day so Brandon and I could go have fun at Six Flags. He had a blast with his Grammy. We had an absolute blast while we were out there. The week flew by and it was extremely hard to say Goodbye! Good thing Ellie will be graduating in 2 years so we have an excuse to go back. Owen had so much fun hanging with his cousins, he loved them all so much. He loved Ellie for letting him play with her cell phone. He liked to give Casey his fakest cry so Casey would let him do whatever he wanted. And Olivia was his go-to-girl when he got in trouble, she would pick him up and let him lay on her shoulder, it was too cute. Well enjoy all the vacation pictures. WE MISS YOU FINK FAMILY!!!!!

Chicago Trip; Part 2 (Crystal Lake Beach #1)

So on our last day of vacation in Illinois we decided to kick back and relax at a little local Beach in Crystal Lake. It was such a beautiful sunny day so we packed up some snacks and went took Owen on his first trip to the Beach. It was a great time we played in the water, walked in the sand, attempted to make sand castles, hung out with the family we miss so much and played at the park there. It was an awesome relaxing day.

Chicago Trip; Part 3 (Great America Six Flags)

Brandon and I love amusement parks and since all we have in Albuquerque is Cliff's and is more like a county fair, we decided we had to go check out Six Flags while we were somewhere cool! They had so many different types of roller coasters, which is our favorite, and yes we did almost all of them. We even took Brandon's 9 year old cousin on some of the scary ones and she impressed us all. She is one brave little girl! We went on wood ones, sit down, stand up, and even lying down roller coasters. We had a blast other than my traumatizing incident of getting stuck on the tippy top of the tallest roller coaster in the entire park for 10 minuets with heavy rain pouring on us! Ahhhh!!!

Chicago Trip; Part 4 (American Girl Doll)

Okay so this probably sounds crazy to most people, but one of my childhood dreams was to go to the American Girl Doll store in downtown Chicago. So, since we happened to be going to Chicago Brandon's Mom, Aunt and two cousin's and I decided to go to the American Girl Doll store and have tea there! O' my goodness it was so much fun. We took the train from Lake in the Hills, where his Aunt and Uncle live, to downtown Chicago which was very fun. Then us ladies spent some time shopping downtown and then went for our Tea Party. It was so cute at our Tea Party they let you borrow dolls to have tea with, so of course I borrowed one. I know most of you think that is silly, but it was so nice to feel like a little girl again. Enjoy the pics.....

Cheers! Yes that is the doll I borrowed for Tea. Molly was always my favorite growing up.

Teenage Sleepover....Ahhhhh!!!!!

Last night Brandon and I decided to be very brave and have four teenage girls sleepover at our house. Our cousin Ellie, who moved away 2 years ago, is down for the week visiting from Chicago. She has three amazing BFF's who she has been staying with, so we decided to give the other mom's a break from these crazy girls and have them come bunk with us for the night. Us girls had a blast, I felt like a teenager all over again! Brandon on the other hand was so scared of being in a house full of young women he decided to have a guys night and went to see Star Track. I forgot how much energy you have when your 16, these girls were so hyper! Our night consisted of a ton of junk food, a few good Chick Flicks and going Sonic hopping at 10:00pm since they were giving away free Root Beer floats until midnight. I think we made it to three sonic's before we all felt like we were going to be sick. I thinks the girls ended staying up until 3:00am and I made it until 11:30pm, yes I know I am getting old. It was so great to spend some time with Ellie and her friends, I miss having her here so much! Thank goodness our trip to visit them in Chicago is just two short weeks away! Hope you enjoy some pic's from our fun filled sleepover.

Here is Owen with the four crazy girls. Starting on the left we have Amanda, Stevie, Cousin Ellie, and Andrea. Owen loved these girls so much, especially since they all had cell phones which are his favorite toys and of course all of them let him play with them. I think he had all four of them wrapped around his little finger within the first 5 minuets! Little Stinker.

Here we are on our way out the door to go to Sonic. Yes, I am completely aware that I am the shortest one even though I am 9 years older than all these girls. Ahhh...

Here is Ellie, Andrea and I drinking our second Root Beer Float! Yuck, I can't think of Root Beer or it makes me sick!
