This past Friday, Brandon and I decided we were really past due for a date night since we haven’t been on one since our Anniversary back in September. Yeah, your telling me. We decided to go out for a nice dinner to celebrate Valentines Day a few days early. We went to this Italian Restaurant called Trombino’s. Apparently this restaurant has been in Albuquerque since the late 70’s and for some reason I have never been there. Wow, the food was amazing. We will defiantly be going back. After dinner we were debating what to do. We weren’t in the mood for a movie so we decided to celebrate our youth and go Roller Skating. We headed to this old place that I used to go as a child called, Roller Skate City. I think Brandon and I were under the impression that Roller Skating was old fashioned and no one goes anymore, totally not the case. We pulled up to a line of people coming out the front door waiting to get in. Crazy right? We felt so out of place since we didn’t see a single person over the age of 15. Needless to say we turned around and left. Still not in the mood to go to the movies we decided to go rent one and head home to snuggle up in our warm bed and watch a movie in the comfort of our own house. It was so nice to get out and have a nice evening with the Love of my life.
Here we are saying goodbye to the kiddos ready to head out for our hot date!
Our two destinations. Too bad only one of them worked out.
And our wonderful children and parents waiting for us when we got home. Thanks Mom & Dad for giving us a special night out for Valentines Day. Love You!
