Going Stir Crazy

Due to a sick son we have been forced to stay indoors even though we are having the most amazing weather lately. It has been in the low 60’s, sunny & no wind. Yeah, like I said, amazing! Anyway, Owen has hit a major turn in his sickness and is starting to feel much better. Not good, but better.

This morning he didn’t have much energy and still wanted to just lay around but by 10ish he was wanting to do more normal every day stuff. His temp has been really low in the 100 range, he ate today and has actually wanted to get off the couch and play. The poor kid is congested beyond belief and can’t breath very well out of his nose, but he is starting to be more like Owen. His nose has been running like a faucet today so his upper lip has become really chapped from wiping it so much. He kept asking me for a band aid today for his owie and I couldn’t figure out for the life of me where he had an owie.

Figured it out. Yes, he was referring to the chapped skin under his nose. He insisted on putting a band aid on it . Once the band aid was on he never complained about it again. Lol. Who knew band aids were the cure for chapped skin. Well, after his nap I couldn’t take being stuck inside one more minute so we packed up the stroller and headed out for a nice long walk around the neighborhood. I think the fresh air did us all some good.

See what I mean? The fresh air is good for everyone after being cooped up inside for three strait days.

Owen loves going for rides in the stroller now that we converted it to a Sit & Stand. He loves standing up behind his little sis! Such a big boy.
