I know, I know, I have been blogging a ton lately, but we have had a lot going on so I don’t want to miss recording all the fun. Plus, lets face it I love sharing pictures because I am a picture obsessed Mamarazzi.
This past Tuesday we had a very fun evening. The Burgess side of the family (Brandon’s Dad’s family) rarely has big get togethers because everyone lives all over the place- Colorado, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and so on. Nana Burgess (Brandon’s Dad’s Mom) was in town for a couple days passing through as she was returning home to Washington from visiting her Grandson Christopher in Pennsylvania. Aunt Patty (Brandon’s Dad’s Sister) and Uncle Doug were also in town as they have just purchased a vacation home up in Boulder, CO. And since Bruce (Brandon’s Dad), Uncle Robbie (Brandon’s Dad’s twin brother), Brandon and his Sister all live in the Denver Metro area we decided we HAD to have a Burgess Family BBQ. Bruce hosted the BBQ at his house and grilled some delicious Hamburgers and Hot Dogs and everyone else pitched in and brought sides. It was great having that many Burgess’ in the same place. We all spent the night chit chatting, caching up on life's happenings, and enjoying each others company. Here are some fun pictures from our fun evening.
This was also a special trip for Nana because this was her first time meeting Miss Bailey. Bailey was her latest Great-Grandchild out of 6 until last Thursday as Devin and Veronica just welcomed sweet little son Henry into the world. Congrats you two, his pictures are so precious!
My goodness these kids are adorable!!!!!!!
These girls are gonna be T-R-O-U-B-L-E when they grow up!
By 8pm my kids were exhausted from a day of go go go, especially Owen as he has finally stopped napping. Finally I know, he is 4 after all. He made it really long but those days are officially long gone, so by 8pm he is so so tired!
Nana, Bruce (Brandon’s Dad), Aunt Patty and Uncle Robbie. Its hard to tell Bruce and Robbie are twins, Lol.
The whole Burgess Clan.
What a fun night with the Burgess Family. We will cherish the time we all got together as it is few and far between!
