The past week(ish)

So if I am being 100% honest, the past 7(ish) days have been a whirlwind and I can barely keep my thoughts strait. It has been BUSY BUSY BUSY. Since my brain is pretty much mush, I am going to keep the writing to a minimum and try and let the pictures speak for themselves. Here we go…

Dates:

Brandon and I have both been feeling bad about the busyness of our lives right now so we took an afternoon to take the kids on a one-on-one special lunch date. Daddy took Autumn and I took Owen. It was so nice getting a special lunch date with my sweet boy just the two of us, and I know Brandon felt the same. Definitely something we are going to do more often.

Brandon & Autumn went to Noodles and Company and Owen and I went to a local Pizzeria. I loved my date and the conversations were priceless. So blessed with such amazing kiddos.

Cleaning:

With Christmas right around the corner, I decided to go on a huge cleaning/toy reorganizing binge. Since I know the kiddos are going to get so many new toys and clothes next week, the four of us went through all their toys and clothes and got rid of anything that no longer gets regular use. The kids had a great attitude about the whole thing and came up with a giant overflowing oversized tote full of stuff to give to the less fortunate.

I Got Sick…AGAIN:

Its been an extremely rough month for me medically speaking. It has been one issue after another and then on top of it all, I wound up with a Sinus Infection. Lets just say I am SO over going to the doctors.

Attitudes & Meltdowns are at an all time high:

Have I mentioned my daughter is 2, very opinionated, very independent, extremely stubborn and super sweet all at the same time.

Gotta love 24 days of Chocolate Calendar courtesy of Auntie Kiki. Thanks Jess, for keeping this annual tradition alive even after we moved away.

Staying in the Christmas Spirit:

There is a teeny tiny glimpse of our past 7(ish) day. Hope your feeling the craziness too this holiday season, it only feels right to be sleep deprived and overworked this time of year.
