First of all I want to apologize for my lack of blogging lately. I have been sick for about 2 full weeks now! I thought it was just allergies at first, but I kept progressively getting worse and worse. Well now Brandon has all the symptoms I have and none of us are getting any sleep because we cant breath and when we can we end up coughing our lungs up. Needless to say. Brandon and I both finally went to the doctors this morning. We both have Upper Respiratory Infections and Owen has an appointment with his pediatrician tomorrow morning because he has all the same symptoms as Brandon and I and he isn't sleeping much either these days because he is terribly congested. Lots of prayers for our health would be greatly appreciated.
Well despite all of us being sick the Burgess' have still managed to be quite busy lately. We are in the process of rearranging basically our entire house to make room for a new nursery and Owen's new Big Boy furniture that is going to be delivered the middle of this week. On top of that we have been attending Birthday party after Birthday party after Birthday party for about the past month. Speaking of Birthday Parties, one of Owen's Best Friends turned 2 this past weekend. I can't believe it! This is the friend that is just 6 weeks older than Owen. It seems like just yesterday they were weeks old and we were sleep deprived clueless parents. Well we are still clueless, just not sleep deprived. Anyway, Owen and I had a great time at Abby's Garden themed party sick and all. The kids played in the sandbox outside, colored the ground with sidewalk chalk and got to decorate these cute little flower pots with paint and stamps. They made a big mess and had lots of fun doing it. The weather was perfect and Abby seemed to really enjoy her special day. Here are some pictures from her Birthday party.
