So this is a continuation to my last post from a couple days ago about our trip last week to Albuquerque. In this post I will finish up with Tuesdays – Thursdays activities. Okay here we go, lots more pictures to share. You can just call me paparazzi.
Tuesday:
Tuesday was a very busy day. Pumpkin Patch in the morning, Dinner and Ice Cream in the evening, and then some Mother/Daughter time to end the day. O yeah, and this was also the day I found out my car was broken and that I’d be in Albuquerque for a few more days, I had originally planned for Tuesday to be my last day there but that just wasn’t the case.
First up is the Pumpkin Patch. My mom, the kids, and I met my Sister & Abi and my BFF Melissa & her youngest daughter Aubryn at the Galloping Grace Pumpkin Patch for some Fall Fun! We went to this same pumpkin patch last year and it is a blast and best of all, it is FREE. The kids had such a great time, so much that we had to literally drag them out of the corn box crying. They honestly could have stayed in that thing all day.
I’ll start off with a little comparison from last year,
It’s crazy how much they grow in a year?!?!
Look at the difference. She is getting so big!
Our best attempt at a group pic :)
Yay for duck races!
I think Autumn was a bit confused between bowling & kick ball?
Little Monkeys!
The Corn Box was a HUGE HUGE HUGE hit!
Corn Angles
My gorgeous Mom & Sister! My mom looks like she could be my Sister’s Sister?!
Me & My Besties! Miss and Love these two more than I can explain!
Off to go Pumpkin Picking. This is the only part that is not free.
These three girls are SO ADORABLE!!!
How bout that, so do I!!!!
After the Pumpkin Patch morning fun it was nap time all around. Not, I was stuck dealing with my stinkin car in the shop. Any who, after my mom came and rescued me from the dealership we all headed to Flying Star for dinner. I tried to eat at all my favorite NM restaurants that I love and miss. Flying Star was high up on my list of places to go.
Yum!
And to end our evening we met up with the Lucio Family at Chill Zone for some frozen yogurt for dessert. Thanks again Alan for treating us :)
Averie, Owen & Aiden. Owen just adores these two. Unfortunately most of the time we got to spend was with Melissa & Aubryn since Aiden & Averie are in school all day. So glad for the time we got with them :)
Cutie Pies!
After the kids were in bed, my sister came over to my mom’s house to have some mommy/daughter time. We shared a glass of wine while watching HGTV. A great evening to a GREAT day!

Wednesday:
Wednesday morning was the morning we originally planned on leaving. Well, since that didn’t go as planned, we decided to meet some friends at Hoot’s for some bouncing fun. We met up with My Sister & Abi, Melissa & Aubryn, Kaitlyn & Olivia, and Piper & Charlotte. It was a blast and the kids burned off an insane amount of energy.
Owen & Olivia
Abi wasn’t too thrilled with the whole bouncing stuff :(
Sweet little Charlotte
Later that evening we just hung around my parents, ate dinner, and relaxed!
Awe!
So blessed.
Thursday:
After calling the dealership at 8:30am praying and hoping the part for my car arrived in their morning shipment, I got some unfortunate news that the part didn’t arrive but that they were expecting it to get there at 1pm. I was pretty annoyed as I was planning to head out at noonish. We didn’t really do much other than hang around my parents that day. I had pretty much lost all hope of heading home that day. I was in a hurry to get home because Brandon and I’s very good friends were getting married on Saturday and Brandon was doing a reading in the wedding so we were supposed to attend the rehearsal dinner on Friday evening. I didn’t really have to be there for the rehearsal, but they are such good friends and I really didn’t want to miss it from being exhausted from driving all day. Well, at 2:45pm I got a call saying my car was ready. Since it was still pretty early in the day I decided at the last second to pack up and head home that day. By time we ripped the kids out of bed from their nap, packed up and headed to the dealership it was about 3:30pm. I hit the Freeway at about 4pm and arrived at my house at 10pm. The drive was great, the kids were AMAZING and I was home safe and sound and ready for the wedding festivities to begin on Friday afternoon. Praise God!
I sure have some AWESOME road trippers! They did amazing and we only had to stop once each way for gas, food & potty. So thankful they did so well! Looks like road trips back home with me and the kids will be in our near future!
