Last Monday, we had Papa Bruce (Brandon’s Dad) over to celebrate his Birthday a couple days late. Brandon and I cooked him some of his favorite foods (Meat, Potatoes & Asparagus) and made him his favorite dessert (Carmel Brownies w/Ice Cream). After dinner his friend Ramona stopped by to have dessert with us and then we ended the evening with a fun card game (Seven). It was a fun night honoring Papa Bruce’s life and the wonderful Father/Grandfather he is :)
For dinner I decided to try something new, A Seasoned Rubbed Beef Tenderloin with a Caper & Pepper Salsa to top it with. For Sides we made my always crowd pleasing Honey Roasted Potatoes and some Oven Roasted Asparagus. Yum, yum, yum, dinner was AMAZING!!!!!
If you’re a follower of mine on Pinterest and your not a vegetarian, I strongly suggest you make this Beef & Salsa asap!
Brandon’s dad LOVES Ooey, Gooey, borderline undercooked Brownies. I threw in some homemade Carmel Sauce to the batter for an added surprise since B & his Dad LOVE Carmel.

It was a lovely get together for a great person. Happy Birthday Papa Bruce we are honored to have you in our lives.
