Going as a family to the Rockies Game on the 3rd of July for fireworks has become an unintentional annual tradition for us, minus last year but that’s because we were in the process of moving States. Any who, this has become a tradition that I absolutely love, cherish, and very much look forward too. We bought tickets back in March, so the anticipation has been building up for a few months. We had a BLAST as a family as all four of us love being outdoors watching a good baseball game, not to mention all the yummy snacks that come along with a baseball game. Unfortunately the Rockies didn’t pull out a Win for us, but it was a good close game, the weather was perfect, and the Fireworks were SO amazing! Here are some fun pictures from our family night…
Our ADORABLE Rockies Fans.
Snow cone lovin’!
Owen had the biggest brown snow cone stash I’ve ever seen. Lol. I love his face in this picture!!!
Autumn did great through the entire game, even though it was a pretty long game. She was SO tired and gave me lots of snuggle time while we were waiting 30+ minutes for the fireworks to start after the game ended since all the people sitting in the section where the fireworks were launched had to be directed onto the field. The fireworks didn’t start until 9:45pm, but they were definitely worth the wait!
Once everyone was on the field it was GO time!
And by time we walked to the car it was a little past 11pm. The kids were SO exhausted and took all of 2 minutes to fall asleep…
It was a wonderful night! So thankful for such a great family & fun annual traditions :)
