As you know from a couple posts back, my Mom came down to help out when I ran into complications following my Gallbladder Surgery. I can not even begin to put into words how much help she was. We honestly would have been in a world of hurt without her here! She had came in such a hurry and wasn’t sure how long she’d be staying so she just bought a one way plane ticket. Well instead of buying a flight back, my Dad decided to drive up last weekend to come visit and then pick her up. I was SO excited as were my kiddos. My Dad got in last Friday about 6pm and they left Monday about noon. It was so much fun having them both here for the weekend, my kids LOVE having them around. Despite the unfortunate terms of the trip it was great having them here, especially 2 full weeks with my Mom. She is truly a huge blessing to me and my family. She is one of the most giving, kind, loving and selfless people I know, especially when it comes to her family. Thanks a million for being here for me and my family Mom, couldn’t have made it through these past 2 months without all of your help and loving support. Also a huge thanks Dad for allowing me to borrow her, I know you missed her like crazy. I love you both so much and continually thank God for giving me the best set of parents I could ever ask for, y’all have taught me so much about the meaning of family!
Okay, enough mushiness about how much I love my parents, just feeling extremely grateful. Here are some pictures of our time with Nana & Pampo this past weekend…
Last Saturday we took the kids to the Wildlife Experience. It’s basically a huge museum about the Wildlife. They have tons of mechanical life size replicas of all different types of animals, an Imax theater, and a little play area for the kiddos. It was a lot of fun and something special we got to do with Nana & Pampo.
Imax fun. It was SO nice having the whole theater to ourselves. Guess that’s a perk to going to the first showing on a Saturday :)
What a fun day!
Other than the trip to the Museum and two lunch outing out, we mainly hung around the house really enjoying each others company and the quality time we all got together.
There was lots of snuggle time,
TONS of board game fun,
Owen is obsessed with Scrabble Jr. I think my poor Dad played this game 20 times in 2 days!
Autumn and her favorite game. I think this is my favorite picture ever! She is so stinkin cute.
There is SO much personality packed into this tiny little body of hers. I LOVE it!
And of course, no trip here would be complete without Pampo & Daddy going on a trip to O & A’s Barber Shop…
And then it was time to say goodbye :( The hardest Goodbye to date. I think Owen had the hardest time, he cried on and off all day. Poor kid LOVES his Nana & Pampo so much…
I can’t say it enough, I Love you SO much Dad & Mom. Thanks again for everything, you are extremely missed!!!!!
