Goodbye Kaitlyn & Olivia....:*(

One of my BFF's Kaitlyn, her husband and daughter are going away to Portland, OR with her husbands work for 6 months. Her and her daughter are in my little "Play Group" so we decided we needed to do one more "Play Group" with the 3 kids before they leave tomorrow! We decided to change things up a little bit, and since Kaitlyn's husband already left and she has the house to herself, we decided to let the kids have their first sleepover. Yes we are crazy! It turned out to be a really fun night. We ordered pizza and the kids played together for about 3 hours and then we put them in their little cribs and had some much needed Mommy time! We ate lots of junk food; Cake, Cookies and Hot Tamales, and watched two great Chick Flicks! O yea, and drank some delicious wine. We had a great time, but unfortunately it is going to be a long time before we can ever do that again all together. WE WILL MISS YOU SO MUCH ALTMAN FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So this was too funny...Jessica brought over some of Abby's old winter clothes for Kaitlyn to take to Portland for Olivia and the kids had a blast pulling all the clothes out of the paper bag they were in. We put this cute little winter hat on Olivia and of course Abby and Owen felt left out so they needed to wear the hat too!!!! Kids are so adorable.

By 7:30pm Olivia had just about all she could take!! Playing with the big kids can sure take a lot out of you...

Rock Star or the next "Bird Man"? You Decide...

On Saturday Brandon and I were invited to watch the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) Fight at Gavin's house. This was a very big event since Gavin has been in his house 4 years and just now hosted his first get together, O' the Bachelor life! Anyway, Brandon and I are totally not into watching the fights but we like to go for the social aspect. So once again we decided to dress Owen for the occasion. We were going for the Boxer look, but I think he looks more like a Rock Star or the "Bird Man" from the Denver Nuggets. What do you think?

Beth Moore Conference

This past weekend I went to my very first Beth Moore Conference. I went at the invite of one of my BFF's and we had such an amazing time. It was even cooler that we got to sit in the very front row. We are talking about going to one of her conferences outside of New Mexico and take a little "Girls Trip", but of course it won't probably be until next year. Anyway, for those of you who don't know, Beth Moore is the founder of Living Proof Ministries. She is known for teaching women how to love and live in God’s Word. She has written numerous books and Bible studies that have been read by women of all ages, races, and denominations. Living Proof ministries was founded off of one single verse in the Bible which is "For the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any two edged sword." Hebrew 4:12. All I have to say is that I was truly touched by the active living word of God this weekend. I felt as if she was speaking directly to me which is no coincidence my friend, it is the amazing work of God Almighty. Her conference this weekend went over 1 Samuel Chapters 1-3 and focused on "The Shocking Favor of God." I had such an amazing time and highly recommend that all you ladies out there attend one of her conferences at some point in your life, you will leave truly touched. For all you ladies who did attend, remember that we are all "Hannah's" in God's eyes. Enjoy the pics....

Rock band PARTY!!!!

We have become quite addicted to Rock band game, so we came up with a brilliant idea to throw a Rock band Party! O' my goodness we had so much fun, I can't remember the last time I have laughed that hard!!!! We had five couple including ourselves and lots of Pizza, Beer, and Dessert. It was so hilarious watching everyone dancing around and singing. I am not sure what the kids were thinking, but they had some funny faces on, thinking what in the world is going on. We got some amazing Black mailing footage of a few of the crazy brave ones who were the lead singers. Good Times!

Travis was so funny, he had this blank look the entire time he was playing.

Here is the little man. We attempted to dress him like a Rock Star, we spiked his hair, Popped his Collar, and had him in his High Top Converse. He looked so adorable.

Fourth of July...

For the Fourth of July this year we went to our good friends house for some goof fun celebrating. We all got together ate lots of yummy food and played games. They just so happen to live right in the same area that Rio Rancho launches their big Firework show from, so we had a perfect view! Brandon was hoping that Owen was just like he is, A PIRO MANIAC, and would love the firework display. And much to his liking, he did. Enjoy the pics and Happy Birthday USA!!!!!!!
